Our History

Riverside Cemetery was founded in 1870 on a ten acre plot of land on the outskirts of Lindsay, Ontario. Over the past 150 years, Riverside has grown into a not-for-profit community pillar and is situated on a beautiful 60 acre property overlooking the river. It shares in the memories and stories of 17,000 individuals and boasts an historic presence in the town it holds so dear. Riverside is proud of its historic roots and looks forward to creating many more in the years to come.
